O American Music Awards 2013, o AMA, vai acontecer apenas no dia 24 de novembro e lista dos indicados aos prêmios já foi revelada no programa Good Morning America. Kelly Clarkson e Will.i.Am foram os responsáveis pela revelação.

Entre os indicados, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis concorrem em seis categorias e são quem mais tem indicações neste ano. Taylor Swift e Justin Timberlake vêm na sequência, com cinco indicações cada um.

Vale ressaltar que, além de Imagine Dragons, a cantora Miley Cyrus deve fazer uma performance ao vivo durante a premiação. Resata saber se a intérprete de Wrecking Ball vai aprontar mais alguma, assim como fez no VMA deste ano, quando dançou twerk.
