Meghan Markle vira editora da Vogue britânica. Veja a capa!

Para quem está acostumado a ver Meghan Markle em eventos oficiais da realeza britânica, poderá ver a Duquesa de Sussex em uma nova função em breve. Ela será a editora convidada do número de setembro da revista de moda Vogue, do Reino Unido.

Na edição, ela entrevista a ex-primeira-dama americana Michelle Obama.

Nesta edição, que se chamará Forças de Mudança, a revista contará com 15 mulheres que romperam barreiras, inclusive a mundialmente reconhecida primatóloga Jane Goodall, segundo um comunicado publicado pela família real no último domingo (28).

"Trabalhar para a edição de setembro da Vigue durante tantos meses é gratificante, educativo e inspirador. Para aprofundar esse processo, estou feliz em poder compartilhar o que criamos. Um enorme obrigado a todos os amigos que me apoiaram nesse esforço, dando tempo e energia para ajudar nessas páginas e na capa. Obrigado por dizer 'sim!' – e ao Edward, obrigado por esta maravilhosa oportunidade", declarou a duquesa de Sussex.

"Através desta ótica espero que sintam a força coletiva na seleção diversa das mulheres escolhidas para a capa", acrescentou.

Além de Michelle Obama e Jane Goodall, a primeira-ministra neozelandesa, Jacinda Ardern, as atrizes e ativistas Jane Fonda e Salma Hayek Pinault, e a jovem ativista sueca Greta Thunberg estão entre as outras mulheres que aparecerão nesta edição.
