MTV revela a lista de indicados ao VMA 2021. Confira os nomes!

A MTV acaba de anunciar os indicados ao MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS 2021. A premiação reúne artistas cujo trabalho e impacto cultural tenham transformado a indústria da música e criado um diálogo mundial no último ano.

Justin Bieber lidera a lista com sete indicações, seguido de perto por Megan Thee Stallion com seis, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Drake, Giveon, Lil Nas X e Olivia Rodrigo, indicada pela primeira vez, receberam cinco indicações cada.

O VMA 2021 retorna à Nova York e será transmitido AO VIVO, direto do Barclays Center, no domingo, 12 de setembro a partir das 21h. A premiação será transmitida para mais de 180 países e territórios, pelos canais lineares e digitais da MTV, atingindo cerca de 400 milhões de residências.

A partir desta quarta-feira, 11 de agosto, os fãs podem votar em seus favoritos em 14 categorias sem gênero, incluindo Clipe do Ano, Artista do Ano, Melhor Feat, no site vma.mtv.com até sexta-feira, 3 de setembro. A votação para Artista Revelação ficará aberta até a data do show, 12 de setembro. Indicados nas categorias digitais como Melhor Banda e Música do Verão serão anunciados em breve.

Neste ano, a MTV está dando visibilidade aos criadores negros e indígenas, durante um dos momentos mais badalados do VMA. A MTV firmou parceria com Marlene Marmolejos (@ motionmami ), Aja Walton ( @ ajackdannie ) e Fred Sands IV ( @ IVormerlyknownas ) para anunciar as categorias Clipe do Ano, Música do Ano e Artista do Ano por meio de cada um de seus diversos meios; da arte digital à nail art.

O VMA está preparado para ser um dos primeiros eventos com público presencial, em Nova York, desde a reabertura da cidade.
